1. About us

The UX Team provides fractional UX and product design leadership services. For enquiries: hello@theuxteam.com.

2. Use of the website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
• Transmit unsolicited commercial communications.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its related systems.
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the site without our written consent.

3. Services

Engagement terms, deliverables, fees and timelines for fractional services are set out in a separate Statement of Work (SoW) or service agreement signed by both parties. In the event of conflict, the SoW takes precedence over these general terms.

4. Workshops & digital products

Purchases of workshops, sprints or digital products from our store are non-refundable once delivery has commenced. If a workshop is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund or a reschedule at your option. Digital products are licensed for your internal business use only and may not be resold or redistributed.

5. Intellectual property

All website content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of The UX Team and protected by copyright. Work product created for clients under an engagement is governed by the applicable SoW. Unless otherwise agreed, The UX Team retains the right to reference completed work in its portfolio.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during an engagement, unless required by law. This obligation survives termination of the engagement for a period of 2 years.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The UX Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the fees paid in the three months prior to the claim.

8. Privacy & GDPR

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests, contract performance, and consent where required. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data at any time by contacting hello@theuxteam.com.

9. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites (e.g. LinkedIn, TidyCal). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
